Why do I need to enter the RFID value for tags?
For sites using NET.Lock locker management, every tag must have its RFID value correctly entered in the database. Tags without an RFID value will not function as intended, potentially causing access issues or operational delays. This is especially relevant for:
- Older tags where RFID information may be missing.
- Newly added tags that require their RFID value to be registered.
Keeping your tag database up to date helps maintain security, improve user experience, and reduce troubleshooting time.
How can I edit or add tag RFID values?
The following steps walk you through updating a tag’s RFID value in Larry Support:
- Open the Larry Support app and navigate to the Tag Analysis section.
- Select the tag you wish to update from the list.
- At the top of the table, you’ll see the Edit RFID Value button.
- Click the button to enter or update the RFID value for the selected tag.
- After entering the value, click Save to ensure your changes are successfully recorded in the database.
